The Oasis This oasis was created in 1979 by the Marche Region upon a WWF request, and it has recently been declared a place of interest for the safeguard of sedentary and peregrine avifauna.

A various vegetation and a rich fauna are present; its most characteristic place is an old oak wood near the farm house, inserted in a meander of the river Foglia. Amongst the species living here are sqirrel, garden dormouse (Elomis quercinus), dormouse, hare, weasel, polecat, fox, beech-marten, porcupine, roe, wild boar; predator birds like kite, buzzard, hawk, owl, barn owl, and peregrine birds like grey-goose, mallard, grey heron ... an ideal place for bird-watching.
